NEW MUMS SUPPORT GROUP

Run by Caroline Hawes

A support group for any Mums with a baby from 0-6 months old.
Occurs 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each Month usually at the Warkworth Birthing Centre.
There is also a Facebook group 'Mahurangi Breastfeeding Support' which provides support and advice for you, as well as regular updates for community courses and events

YOUNG MOTHERS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES

Women's Centre Rodney

A parenting course, specifically for young mothers under the age of 22- 25 years. The course aims to offer educational opportunities, create support networks, decrease isolation, provide practical knowledge and information on services and resources in our community and empower mothers to make healthy, constructive choices.
This is an ongoing programme that runs from 10am -12:30pm on Monday mornings, with child minding and morning tea provided.
